Unhealthy chocolate addiction;

Instead of going out like most years, I’ve come home on Easter Friday eve  completely exhausted from a full day of work and night of lectures. So while all my friends are out, I’m sitting here on the couch in my bathrobe, listening to chilled music and eating my weight in chocolate.

It’s not as sad as it sounds. I skyped with my best friend S in NZ and inspired her to dig into the chocolate early….yeah I’m a bad influence.

There’s me in the corner with a towel on my head….definition of awesome?

Easter is by far my favourite time of the year. Four days off work where I get to indulge in all sorts of cute easter eggs and not feel guilty about it.

  1. Ahh, this makes me so jealous, I haven’t had a single piece of chocolate yet (hoping my mom has got an Easter egg prepared for me when I come for dinner tomorrow). I’ve noticed lately that Spring weather (the few sunny days we’ve had) has made me crave candy, haha. I associate Spring weather with Easter and chocolate/candy. I always do a double take at the grocery store when they roll out the foil covered chocolate eggs, reminds me of my childhood. The chocolate per se really isn’t that good at all compared to real quality chocolate, but at Easter I have to have them for their nostalgic value. 🙂

    • Haha don’t be too jealous, every piece of chocolate I’ve eaten over the past week has been a gift to myself! And yes, I started eating chocolate a week ago….I have a problem lol.
